David Bieler

David Bieler is an alumnus of the Mercatus Center MA Fellowship in the Regulatory Studies Program. Prior to coming to George Mason, he studied electrical engineering at Penn State and served as an acquisitions officer in the Air Force. It was during this latter experience that he developed an interest in policy and economics.

Currently, David is a Senior Analyst at the Government Accountability Office, where he focuses on reviewing homeland security and justice programs. He was previously an Asylum Officer at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
