The Mercatus Center at George Mason University is currently looking for freelance copyeditors and proofreaders to join the publications team on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style or Bluebook legal style and more than five years of direct experience working as a copyeditor or proofreader for a publisher or communications department. In addition, we're looking for someone who is experienced in editing economics research paper. A bachelor’s or master's degree in economics is a plus.
