Biography
Christopher Hixon is the associate director of the Mercatus Center's Regulatory Studies Program. He is responsible for coordinating program personnel, publications, projects, and events. Previously, he was the managing director of the Mercatus Center's Capitol Hill Campus (CHC) program.
Before joining Mercatus, Mr. Hixon completed a judicial internship in the Office of the Administrative Assistant to Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist at the Supreme Court of the United States. He also spent parts of six years working at a financial and management consulting firm in Belleair Bluffs, Florida.
Mr. Hixon earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Maryville College (TN). Currently, he is pursuing a JD at the George Mason University School of Law.
