Rob Raffety is the Associate Director for Policy Research.  In this capacity, Mr. Raffety overseas a team of program managers, research assistants, graduate student fellows, and interns who function in support of both in-house scholars and a broad network of economic, legal, and public policy scholars.  Aside from his duties at Mercatus, Mr. Raffety serves as an adjunct professor of law and public administration for the GMU School of Law and the Department of Public and International Affairs’ Master of Public Administration program.  He is also an aspiring screenwriter and filmmaker.

Mr. Raffety is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College (’97) and received a JD/MPA joint degree from Syracuse University College of Law and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs (’00).
