Rosemarie Fike

Rosemarie Fike is an alumna of both the Mercatus MA Fellowship program at George Mason University and the Mercatus Adam Smith Fellowship program. After completing her MA in economics at George Mason University, she has been pursing her PhD in economics at Florida State University where she works as both a research and teaching assistant to James D. Gwartney. Ms. Fike earned a BS in business administration with concentrations in economics, finance, and investment management from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Her research interests include institutions and economic development as well as political economy. Her dissertation examines how institutions consistent with the concept of economic freedom impact the lives and status of women.
