MA Fellow Ben VanMetre Discusses Maryland's Budget
Mercatus Center Graduate Student Programs Fellow Benjamin VanMetre appeared on DC metro area’s Fox 5 news channel to discuss Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley’s recent budget proposal. Gov. O’Malley’s proposal includes measures to close the state’s deficit with teacher pension reforms and income tax reforms. State fiscal policy is one of Mr. VanMetre’s research interests and has included specific research on Maryland’s efforts to balance its budget.
