RULE SUMMARY

This proposed rule describes the implementation of certain funding provisions under title XXI of the Social Security Act (the Act), the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), as amended by the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2009 (CHIPRA), by the Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP Extension Act of 2007 (MMSEA), and by other related CHIP legislation. METHODOLOGY
