Liam Sigaud

Postgraduate Fellow
Liam Sigaud is a Postgraduate Fellow on the Open Health Project at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. His work focuses on state and federal health policy, including the impact of Medicaid’s expansion under the Affordable Care Act, the forces behind rising maternal mortality rates in the U.S., and the health effects of minimum wage laws. Previously, he served as a research assistant at the Mercatus Center and worked as a policy analyst for the American Consumer Institute and the Maine Policy Institute. His writing has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Hill, RealClear Policy, Morning Consult, and other publications. Liam holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Maine.
