Chad Rankle is a PhD student in Anthropology at the University of California, San Diego. He earned an MS in Geographic Information Systems and a BA in Anthropology from California State University, Long Beach. He previously participated in the Adam Smith Fellowship. His research focuses on prehistoric migration, mobility, and diet in Pacific Nicaragua through the analysis of Strontium, Oxygen, Carbon, and Nitrogen isotopes in human remains.
