Chinmay Kalluraya is a PhD student in Biology at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He earned a BS in Biology from the University of California, San Diego. His research studies the impact of pathogens on human health. Specifically, he focuses on the model intracellular pathogen, Toxoplasma gondii, and the molecular mechanisms that support its survival under high infection density and constraints on available resources for growth.
