Darien Kearney is a PhD student in Economics at Howard University. He earned an MS in Applied Economics from Cornell University, an MS in Applied Psychology from the University of Southern California, an MBA and a BBA in Finance from Sam Houston State University, and an AAS in Audio Visual Technology from Lonestar College. His research focuses on the relationship between the emotion of injustice and its effects on decision-making. In particular, he is interested in examining how racially motivated post-traumatic stress disorder affect individual decision-making of black individuals relative to other races.
