Denise Brown is a PhD student in Political Science at the University of Missouri. She earned an MSc in Government and a BSc in International Relations from the University of the West Indies. Her research interests include the developmental legacies of colonial institutions, specifically the political origins and impacts of independence-era constitutions on current development outcomes in former British and French colonies.
