Esha Meher is a PhD student in Religious Studies at Yale University. She earned an MA in Religious Studies from Yale University and an LLB in Law & Economics from Gujarat National Law University. She previously participated in the Adam Smith Fellowship and the Don Lavoie Fellowship. Her research focuses on the role of colonial law, markets, and native cultural norms in the making and unmaking of contested sacred spaces.
