Miguel Cuellar Chavez is a PhD student in Economics at the University of Arkansas. He earned an MA in Economics from the University of Arkansas and a BS in Economics and International Business from the University of the Ozarks. He previously participated in the Elinor Ostrom Fellowship. His research interests include the impact of ethnic identity on immigrants’ employment outcome, the social and economic effects of mass shootings on community mobility, and the role of race and gender diversity on the work team integration.
