Olajide Olugbade is a PhD student in Public Policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He earned an MA in European Studies on Society, Science, & Technology from Maastricht University and a BTech in Project Management Technology from the Federal University of Technology Akure. He previously participated in the Adam Smith Fellowship. His research explores the interrelationships of the social, cultural, economic, and political mix in the global AI policymaking processes and how countries (especially in the Global South) can navigate policy issues around ethics, sustainable development, privacy, inequalities, and discrimination.
