Shal Marriott is a PhD student in Political Science at the McGill University. She earned an MA in Political Theory from McGill University and a BA in Political Science and History from Carleton University. She previously participated in the Don Lavoie Fellowship. Her research interests include how literature informs our understanding of ourselves as political actors, the nature of relationships in the public sphere, and what it means to uphold liberal virtues.
