Evaluating Aid Agencies

Why has foreign aid fallen short in achieiving its development goals?  One such answer lies in the aid effectiveness movement.  Aid effectiveness refers to improving the quality (rather than quanitty) of aid flows and following a set of "best practices" that can make foreign aid more effective in poverty reduction.  Read more of this work in Lessons on Foreign Aid and Economic Development.
