He was formerly a program manager at Mercatus, managing research projects that focused on regulatory processes, technological innovation, and entrepreneurship. Michael earned his B.A. in Economics and Journalism–Advertising at Creighton University in 2015 and M.A. in Economics at the University of Georgia in 2023.
