Vincent J. Geloso

Dr. Vincent J. Geloso is an Assistant Professor of Economics at George Mason University. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Texas Tech University and assistant professor of economics at King's University College and Bates College. 

Geloso specializes in the measurement of living standards today, in the distant past, and in economic history. He authored the books Rethinking Canadian Economic Growth and Development since 1900: The Quebec Case (Palgrave Studies in Economic History, 2017) and Du Grand Rattrapage au Déclin Tranquille: Une histoire économique et sociale du Québec de 1900 à nos jours (Accent Grave, 2013). Moreover, his articles have been published in Economic Journal, European Economic Review, Public Choice, Economic Inquiry, Canadian Journal of Economics Explorations in Economic History, European Review of Economic History, Contemporary Economic Policy and Southern Economic Journal. 

Geloso received his M.Sc. and PhD economic history from the London School of Economics.
