Lauren Hall is Professor of Political Science and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs in the College of Liberal Arts at the Rochester Institute of Technology. She is the author of The Medicalization of Birth and Death (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2019) and Family and the Politics of Moderation (Baylor University Press, 2014) and the co-editor of a volume on French political thinker Chantal Delsol. Her work addresses false binaries in everything from healthcare to the family. Her current writing explores the political and social moderation as well as the moral and political implications of regulations with a focus on healthcare.
