Elizabeth Hemsley is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at The University of Edinburgh. She earned a PhD in Political Theory from The University of Hong Kong, an MSc in Political Theory from the London School of Economics & Political Science, and an MA in Philosophy from The University of Edinburgh. She previously participated in the Adam Smith Fellowship. Her research examines how instances of scarcity brought about by environmental change affect existing rights of exclusionary holding.
